Northframe is a premium Astro theme for freelancers and studios who value calm whitespace, strong typography, and case-study depth over scroll gimmicks. Large framed visuals and subtle Motion scroll details create a refined editorial feel — not the hyper-animated agency aesthetic common in premium templates.
Each project supports seven narrative fields: challenge, strategy, design approach, implementation, outcome, metrics, and testimonial. That structure helps buyers present work the way clients actually evaluate it.
What is included
Northframe includes home, work index and detail, services, process, pricing, about, journal index and detail, contact, styleguide, RSS, custom sitemap endpoint, and a custom 404 page.
Projects are in src/content/projects/. Journal posts are in src/content/journal/. Profile, services, process, pricing, FAQs, metrics, capabilities, testimonials, and animation settings live in src/data/.
Pricing, process, and B2B credibility
The pricing page supports engagement models for freelancers and consultants. The process timeline page walks visitors through how you work. Metrics and capabilities sections add B2B credibility without custom page builds.
Animation intensity is configurable from src/data/animation.ts with reduced-motion references built in.
Built on a static-first Astro stack
Northframe is built with Astro 6.4.4 (pinned), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v3 via PostCSS, Motion, Astro content collections, and astro:assets for image optimization from src/assets/images/.
astro check runs as part of the build workflow. There is no required CMS, CRM, or form backend.
Customization workflow
Add projects with full case-study frontmatter in src/content/projects/. Update pricing, services, and profile in the data layer. Replace demo journal posts and testimonials with real content. Swap framed project images through the Astro assets pipeline.
